Dragon's blood oil—a latex or resin from a tree—is native to our Amazon used by native ethnic groups and spread in various regions of Peru such as San Martín, Huánuco, Junín, Loreto, and part of Cusco. It is a small tree with leaves in the shape of a heart that grows in open areas where the sun comes. When one of its branches is cut, it secretes a red sap with a bitter taste [Colonel L.:2009]. Dragon's blood is sold in liquid form, as extracted from the plant. The sap is extracted by making "V" or spiral cuts with a blade and collected in a container [Rodríguez D.:2002] Dragon's blood oil (Croton lechneri) is a natural resin with antioxidant and healing action.. Also, it is known for stimulating the body's defenses.

RECOMMENDATION AND SUGGESTED USAGE

• Topical:
• Apply drops of the resin on the skin.
• Oral:
• Dilute 3 drops of dragon’s blood in a large glass of water.
• Take 30 minutes before meals 3 times a day.
